The price of my paintings follow a numeric pattern based on an averaged price per square inch. For instance, currently, my artwork sells for about $.85 per square inch.
Commission prices depend also on dimensions of the work, but, since I have to stop what I'm doing to create something new and tailored to your taste, I charge a bit more $.95 per square inch for pieces smaller For instance, a piece 16" x 20" would be $305 instead of $275. Commissioning a painting is a straightforward process. It will work out this way:
1 - You choose the dimension of the piece (thus the price that fits your budget.)
2 - You choose the theme (based on my paintings and style, email me a paragraph with your vision and preferences - color, orientation of the composition, etc. or we can talk about that over the phone.)
3 - You pay 50 % of total price as a down-payment.
4 - I will do several sketches and email them to you for your approval.
5 - I will start to work on the painting and keep you updated about the progress by email.
6 - I will finish the painting and email you an image of the finished artwork for your approval. After approval, you pay the remaining 50%.
7 - I will insure and mail the painting to you. I will insure and mail the painting to you.
The whole process will take around 3-7 weeks depending on the size of the painting and the approval of the final concept (or as long as you need to accommodate your payment schedule). I work fast, I have never missed a deadline and I'm very serious about my work and the satisfaction of my clients.
When working with me, I hope you would realize that commissioning a piece is not only a very rewarding process because you get to be part of the creation process and can see the work developing, but it is also very affordable because you don't have to pay all the money upfront and you can set your own payment schedule.
